This is not a new phenomenon. It’s been happening since before I started driving in 2011.

I imagine it's been happening since Thag the Caveman first hired someone else to help him haul freight with that fancy new "wheel" invention.

Lucked out again and sent west again last week to Reno. Dropped that Wed and live loaded around the corner going to Home Depo in Ontario which I dropped that Thursday then got bounced to Colton to grab a Reefer to live load at the cheese plant in Lemoore. Loaded that Friday morning then stopped in Barstow for a 34. Left out Sunday headed to PFG in Glen Allen. QualComm crapped out on me sometime Sunday night early Monday morning so running paper logs until fixed. Like 14 years since I used paper logs and scrapped 3 before filling everything out correctly, lol! Be on the WM yard this afternoon so will see if I can get that fixed. They cleaned up and reorganized the Colton yard, not a messy cluster anymore and our trailers are on the asphalt in the back corner where England’s backing pad was.

QualComm is burned up and WM shop said they don’t have any in stock here to plug in so paper logs til Thursday when I get to Richmond after PFG delivery. I figured it was burned up with how hot it is to touch and that also explains the burning wires smell I was smelling last week.

Had a delivery to Sysco in Jessup, MD. However, the load assignment did not arrive in time for me to make on-time delivery with my available HOS. Was supposed to deliver this morning at 7:00am, but they didn't finish loading me until 7:45pm last night, and it's a 6+ hour drive from shipper to receiver, and I also needed to take a 10-hour reset.

Started my clock as soon as my 10 was up, and made a beeline to the receiver. Arrived shortly after 1:00pm, which is when they stop taking deliveries. So I am now parked at the TA in Jessup, and your thoughts and prayers are requested. Will deliver at 7:00am tomorrow morning.

Been there, paid there to stay. Hopefully you can still get hot food there. Lock your doors and set up your claymores.

Emptied at PFG this morning then bounced to Richmond to replace my QComm, get the truck washed and load in Mt. Airy Nc tomorrow morning to WM yard. Take a 34 there. Due home next Thursday so might end up with Beth Page BH after 34 if that is available. Ill bounce over to Wytheville since it’s closer to the shipper.
