Yep. I was looking at my trips over the past half a year, and the bulk of them have been Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Can't remember my last trip out west, but it's been a while.

Delivered to the paper mill in Ashland, then decided to call it a night at the Ashland TA at Exit 92.
For those not familiar with the area, there's some restaurants down the road. In particular, there's a Panda Express that's maybe a quarter-mile away, across two streets, catty-corner on the next block down from the TA. That's what I wanted for dinner, so I marched myself over.
Struck up a conversation with the dude ahead of me in line, and turned out he's also a trucker. So we chatted a bit. He got his food, I got my food, and we both left. Continued our conversation on the way back to the truck stop. Nice guy.
We reached the truck stop parking lot, and I asked "You staying at the hotel? Or you parked back in the lot?"
He said "Neither" with a grin, and proceeded to head over to the truck parked at the first pump, which had hoses in both tanks and one truck parked behind him, waiting. Gave me a jaunty wave as he opened the door and put his grub inside.
I just chuckled and shook my head.ncmickey, MidWest_MacDaddy, Knucklehead and 6 others Thank this. -
Dropped my gatorade on the Richmond yard last night and put my truck in the shop 0700. Needed a 34 anyway. Truck needs an oil pressure sensor. Had to order it, was hoping it arrived this afternoon but guess not. Hopefully tomorrow morning.

Stopped at a Loves in Alabama the other day headed to the house. A driver was pulled into the fuel island facing the wrong direction. After I came back out from doing my business he was still just sitting there, as I walked by his trailer I noticed a brake chamber just hanging down dragging on the ground. I walk back up and let the rocket scientist know he has a brake chamber hanging down.
In broken English he tells me he’s aware of it. I tell him there’s a shop right there on sight, he tells me it’s fine and proceeds to head back out on the road.
The amount of drivers killed in wrecks and pileups last week alone that I saw stories about was shocking to me. It’s getting more and more dangerous out here every year, and guys like this POS who could care less about a break chamber nearly dragging the ground and is aware of it, but instead just ignores it is everything wrong with this industry today.ncmickey, motocross25, Lonesome and 5 others Thank this. -
