Miles in the toilet this week, unloaded in Elkhart,and was sent a reload for tomorrow afternoon 80 miles away, going down to Wytheville for a drop.

 

That was a sorry SOB that ties up the fuel island for a stupid and ignorant reason to go get food.

Well now I’m curious … lol

 

This week turned out better than I thought in spite of a day in the shop. Got sent over to Shelton in Wytheville for a live load to gatorade in Byhalia. Volvo to Tx for Monday after. Im tired from driving late into the night a lot since coming out the house so I agreed to just drag my feet a bit this weekend to get back on the schedule I prefer to keep with 0300 start. Got overloaded again gatorade wise, twice in a row over 45k was put on my wagon. Only 200 over gross this time, figured Id burn enough fuel off by the time I got to Tn scales, which I did.

 

Haha! Just a small rant…

 

You'd think that since they do this hundreds of times a week, they'd be experts at it by now.

 

Was nice to stretch out a bit. Got sent to Tx with a volvo load after dropping in Byhalia yesterday morning then a drop and hook in Hutchins to Jacksonville for a live unload tomorrow morning. Haven’t been across 20 and 10 in a while. They watch that Shreveport truck detour like a hawk, wonder how many non-english folk still try to go through these days….

 

Happens all the time and cops waiting on both ends of the construction. If you can’t show proof that you picking up or delivering in the restricted section it’s a $300 fine.
