Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

After orientation yesterday I’m kinda stuck between should I just stick it out with Abilene or go elsewhere. Orientation only last two days which I was shocked by then your sent off with a trainer or if your experienced you get your truck assignment. After being told things are slow and don’t know whats to come I just don’t know anymore. I know I’m a rookie but I don’t wanna just be sitting around waiting with a trainer. Hoping for him to get some freight so I can get my training and experience. But we were told freight is slow right now and everything that’s going on with the company. Also a lot of people are being fired because of idiotic decisions. And some trainers are even just giving trainees the boot off their truck. Florida drivers not even moving because it’s no freight coming out of that area to move them. So basically it’s a what if and what’s to come situation right now with Abilene.
