The hired me out of school and it's been wonderful! My co-workers are all extremely helpful and my fleet manager is awesome! Can't hurt to call recruiting!

Got to our drop in Riverside at 3am, 45 hours after leaving the Richmond yard. Ken is doing just fine, he'll be with me for the next 2 weeks then we'll send him on his way solo. He has a year under his belt, but safety wanted to make sure he has it. I think he does, so I'll be showing him policies and procedures then cut him loose.

I had a slight issue with my delivery this morning. The shipper double stacked the last single pallet in the trailer and never put a load lock in. When I opened the trailer door the double stacked pallet had fallen over, no damage to the product, but they wanted $25 per pallet to restack the product. At 3am in the morning I sure as hell wasn't going to be handling any freight after this drive. I had the money on me, paid them and got the receipt to hand in to get reimbursed. As soon as I sent in my empty call, our reload info came over the qualcomm, drop and hook at the produce center 3 miles away going to London Ky for Monday morning. I ran over to our drop yard and grabbed 2 load locks, then drove over to get my trailer. We were hooked and leaving at 10:30. I spoke with Tim to let him know there's too much time on this load and that we would be in West Memphis about 8pm Saturday night. I was told they will be swapping us out and sending us back to California. Now we get to go play in the snow across New Mexico.

Well, looks like I'll be boarding a bus Monday afternoon to get to Richmond Tuesday morning for orientation. Going to run me to the Dr for my drug test and physical then take me to the hotel to relax the rest of the day. What size inverters does the company allow? Also, if the truck doesn't idle due to the temperature, what do you guys do for cool.air? I'm a use the ac in the dead of winter kind of guy lol. Also, with stuff being plugged in and turned on, does the truck auto start periodically? You guys use the touchscreen QC with Elogs? Does it come with the navigation or no? Sorry just trying to get all the information I can before arriving. Every company I've driven for has either allowed idling regardless of temperatures or had APU'S. So the trucks are governed at 68 and 71 I was told?

our trucks are locked down to 68mph all our trucks except 2013 macks have a 1500w inverter already inside truck, big enough to handle 900w microwave. In terms of idle won't run between 35-65. We have bunk heaters for the winter. Do have the qc with touch screen some trucks have the newer model while other are stuck on the older both of which has navi personally I have my own rand McNally to use.

10-14 days. We are paid every 2 weeks so if you run the pay period then go home you don't miss out on miles.
