Chris was going to give me that load until I told him I was running as a team. Sorry to hear about your terrible luck. At least you finally got to meet the famous JohnBoy.

JD congrats! Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hi!
Delivered last night in northern MA. Three coolers. After the second one was unloaded I realized it was talking a very long time. I went in the store and realized (at 0100) they were unloading one, then INSTALLING it before off loading the next. I was empty and asleep in ten minutes. Awoke to almost 4 hours of Boston traffic, got loaded in CN for Williamsburg Va and sat in 5 hours of NYC traffic. Made it too the hook at exit 100 in Maryland. Hopefully tomorrow is better!
JB best wishes and don't hesitate to ask If you need anything!

i know your pain my friend. Stones are why I drive a Mazda every day for work. Right now I'm on stone number 14 in the last year. My 30 yrs of stone production have led me to the conclusion it is better if the doc can just remove it. When they break them up it leaves lots of pieces and that you then have to wait for them to come out!

I know you aren't talking about me. My track record isn't too good. I have a rep for being too hard. Oh well, I'll still keep plugging along, one day I might get this truck driving deal down.

Truckin' Monkey, Lonesome and FLATBED Thank this.

I go in tomorrow for a Kidney sonogram, then depending on where it is, Tuesday it's the camera and tool deal, you know where I'm sure.

I'm home, got empty at 9pm last night then drove the 131 miles towards the house. I didn't have enough time to make it all the way so I had to stop 45 miles short. Woke up at 6am with a split sleeper complete then drove home. It was ok, I would have got home at 1am, I don't like for my wife to come out at that time of night anyway. At 7am I was having coffee at Dunkin Donuts with the wife, then went home.

I'll be home until next Wednesday morning, God willing, I hope to have this kidney stone taken care of. Back in November, what I thought was a back problem, was actually the stone. A random urine test showed a trace of blood, after consulting with the Urologist and having another test, this is where we are. So, I get a week off and act like a baby so my wife can wait on me hand and foot, like she normally does.

What started out as a bad pay period, ended with a bang. My miles were in the tank, I was babysitting freight, I spoke to Alan about it, Tim left, I got Walter as a DM, (Yeah!), then low and behold, I finished fine. I didn't run as many miles as I usually do, 5400 as opposed to 6200, but I had 2 NYC runs that paid extra, and what usually is 6 trips turned out to be 12. That seems to be where the issue was, for me it was too many trips. But finishing the pay period last night for me turned into my average earnings for a pay period, just not the miles. If I stayed out until Saturday it would have been a great 2 weeks. It just seemed long and hard because of all the pick up and deliveries I did. I went backwards and hit more docks then I usually do. Time to go float around in the pool. God Bless and be safe.

    Lonesome Thanks this.
