Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Absolutely nothing, zero, zilch, nada.

 

Been a busy week since leaving the house last Wednesday evening. Through this last Wednesday evening I ran 3795 miles. Right now I'm getting empty with my 3rd drop in Lorton Va. After getting empty in Brooklyn with a totally uneventful trip in, I was reloaded at the same dock I got empty at and headed to Groveport. Got there at 8:30 Wednesday night, took my 10 there then reloaded this 4 dropped. I'll be in Richmond about 9am, just in time to go to bed. Caio!

 

Small world for sure.

 

Just woke up here at the Richmond yard. Had to go sleepy for a while. Starting your day at 1am and making drops until daylight is a little much for me. I have an LTL load being put together here in the yard that finals in Denver. Don't know the particulars yet. I've been working off recap the last few days, and I'll be able to run this way for the forseeable future. My hero Brian will be in later tonight. Time for some laughs and giggles.

 

No I haven't Karen. I called him twice the last couple of months and left a message with no response.

 

My trailer is loaded with 4 drops in Denver on Monday. The only problem is the trailer needed an inspection, 8 tires, complete brake job, grease job and I'm good to go. I'll be leaving out at 4am in the morning. Tonight is Chinese food, shower and early to bed.

 

My 4 drop load to Denver? Turned into 6 drops. All done by noon. Took a nap then the slot machine started going off. Got a nice 2000 mile load back to Fredericksburg Va for Friday. Been working off my recap since last week, I now carry strong hours over from now until I head home next week. Been up since 3am, time for some sleep, 4am will be here very soon. Be safe all!
