Sounds to me like he's leaning toward Abilene. I think I would too. I've never worked for either company, but from reading the threads on both, Abilene seems to be more driver friendly.

... almost... lol
I have been here just a little over two months myself and in that time, and the time while checking into the company, I only can across one moaner and groaner about working at Abilene and I tagged him such very quickly in our brief conversation... So excluding that one person, everyone else I have talked to, all drivers, all seem very happy here in general and have overall positive things to say about the company ... Which shocked the hell out of me... lol... I mean really, a trucking company where most all the drivers are generally happy to work there... Ain't possible right???
I have met some very friendly folks here so far and look forward to many years here.
If you have any questions, feel free to post them here or PM any of the regular chatters here and I am sure you will have them answer.
Oh, and miles??? Do they ever have them... In two months of being in the training program, I have only sat one time on a load and the one time I thought we would be waiting until Monday to get our next load, POOF, up it came on the QualComm and we were off and running once again.
So, if you are looking for a friendly place with great equipment and a ton of miles to give... Abilene is the place.audeygdad Thanks this. -

Or one could see it as a simple example of the same thing happening in each and every State of the Union... LOL
Either way, seemed baffling to me to park in front of several trucks blocking their way out when they could have set up on the other side of the pole and blocked no one.
Stay Safe,
