My guess is whoever was buying them changed their mind

 

The recruiter told me I would see California 2 or 3 times a month.

 

That is utter BS, it won't hapen for a solo.

 

I'd never call anyone a liar. Do you live out west? Maybe a trainer will go that way. A team. But as far as a solo I'd say no because the west coast is usually for teams. I'm sure everyone else will chime in too, but unless you live out that way I doubt it.

 

I noticed the macks that were sold are now Barnes trucks. Has anyone else seen this?

No, no, no... I said I wasn't calling the recruiting department a liar. I'm just saying in my opinion I don't think you would. But please, ask more drivers before you make your decision

Unless you live out that way, as a solo, there's a 90% probability that you will NOT be out west much. I've been here 3 years and gone to CA 3x. None in the last year and WA 1x this past July.

As for 10 days out and 4 days off. Not going to happen. I don't care what they tell you. 12 days out, 2 days off. 4 weeks out, 4 days off.

This is trucking, not daycare. Maybe you should look for a local job if you have that much of a commitment elsewhere. Just sayin'.
