    Wooo doggies!! It's raining cats and dogs and blowing cows around here in Mercer OH today! Well, maybe not cows, but it did blow my windshield wiper out so I had to stop and fix it. Not once, but twice! Drivers side. That's a first for me! Going to head inside the Motor Inn truck stop and get them to make me a hunt bros pizza and get rocked to sleep.

    I saw a rather large front rolling across the Midwest... The tail just missed me heading to Florida... It didn't look at all pretty.

    It blew the wiper off twice? Dang!

    Sitting in Barstow Ca. Just finished a swap here with one of our local drivers. It's been quite a week since I left Richmond last Saturday. Six days into my 70 and I'm now watching my clock.

    I ran hard to Denver to beat the blizzard and was able to deliver all three stops a day early. Instead of being empty today in Pocatello, I was empty yesterday. I was able to make it to Denver with no issues, but as soon as I hit the Wyoming line it all hit the fan. I made it to Laramie Monday and finished my day there. I woke up just at daybreak on Tuesday and fought ice and snow to Rawlins. Got my SLC drop off at 2pm then went up to Pocatello to spend the night. Got up at 5am yesterday, drove over to my stop and was done at 7am. When I got back into my truck my reload was sitting on my QC. Deadhead 116 miles to Jerome Idaho and pick up a load going to Adelanto Ca for today before 2pm. I was loaded and rolling south on 93 at noon. I made it to the petro in Vegas last night. On my way down I got a message to swap out this morning with our local driver in Barstow and take that load to our drop yard in Irving Texas.

    Right now I have 10.5 hours left on my 70, and pick up 11.25 after midnight tomorrow night. I will be in Irving about noon Saturday. Then head home for the holiday.

    Okay, I have been following you and I like the way you do business, wasn't sure if you still took newbies under your wing still or not. I'll have completed CDL training by the end of Jan. still doing the Navy thing till mid Dec. do you recommend applying before I finish school to move the process along or wait till I graduate? Your guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks again for your posts I enjoy and appreciate them a lot.
