Sitting at QVC in Suffolk for a delivery and I look up and see an Abilene green truck, but no Abilene logo. Hmmm... Truck #1114 was on the back. Ha!
Got to spend turkey day at home. Family was surprised. I didn't even call my husband until I was hooked to this trailer and headed to the house. Now to get this unloaded and deadhead back to the yard. Trailer has an air leak somewhere. I can hear it, but I can't find it. And I need to get this steer tire off my drive axle. Thanks, JB, for explaining that. I kind of figured it was something to do with money.

Ok, I have a question. On this load, I p/u on the yard and paid miles to Suffolk were 83. Now I have a deadhead move back to same yard and paid miles are 75. Did it become a shorter distance from Suffolk to Richmond overnight? I did pose this question to my wonderful FM, and am eagerly awaiting his response.

Yes. The USA shrunk overnight. Guess you didnt hear about it.

Some routing software do that shows outbound with a few more miles showing than inbound , ours does it a lot on Canadian Loads

Got my load assignment this afternoon. I need to deadhead 645 miles up to Braesleton Ga, take my 10 then drop and hook Sunday going back to Richmond for a live unload 3 am Monday. I've done this load before, it's a good 1145 mile run out of the house. I'll be leaving about noon tomorrow.
