Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

I was working for a lil mom and pop company back in '95 and was backed into a dock loading a load of Styrofoam cups, you had to count every case. Anyway some feller was backing into the spot next to me and took the front end off my truck. I was able to drive it but it required some extensive bodywork to the hood so I was in a loner for a few weeks. So I know what you mean by missing your truck. You get used to how yours drives shifts behaves then you have to learn another one.... stinks.

 

Here's hoping it's just a few days and not weeks like you experienced... lol

And I didn't, and won't, grab all my stuff so last week I went to sweep out one of the trailers and didn't have a broom.... So I will grab that this time around too. But then it will be something else that I didn't grab out of my truck... lol

But a minor inconvenience in the bigger picture for sure. But one that makes me appreciate the truck I do have... Well, when I get it back that is...

 

MD, you'll get it back just in time to be upgraded into a newer one! Hahaha

I must ask more questions... Those in Richmond will be so happy to hear that too.

 

Well, good Ol' 1313 is down longer than expected and no parts are even on order yet... Even though the garage still says it will be ready by the end of the week... LOL

So they moved me to 1405... Got all my stuff moved over, but not settled in yet, and the QC is telling me I am heading to Portkand, OR for s Monday morning drop.

Guess I better get to checking on the weather between here and there... I might see my first snow, well, in an 18 wheeler that is.
