    Thanks for all the information, I was wondering for a new CDL holder, what are the training phase(s) required until you go Solo? The web page stipulated Phase 1 but did not mention how long the phase lasts or if additional phases were required. Seems to me like a good place to start a driving career. Thanks for all information.

    all phases are required for new cdl holders, to the best of my knowledge, and phases typically last as long as the trainee needs to be proficient with the subject matter / physical skills. the trainer manual gives guidelines of 2-4 weeks per phase, but they can be lengthened or shortened as needed.

    Back on dry land. Hitting the road on Wednesday. Now I'm counting the days until we leave on a two week Mediterranean cruise in September. Did I miss anything?
