felt like the trailer was airborne once up in Buffalo
Miss Patty had to change her underwear and yelled until we got to a TS
so last time she rode it was windy in WY I asked if she wanted to stay in Laramie until I got back
she called me bad names and got in the truck

The wind is bad here in Indiana a FedEx big truck was laying on its side on the 20 bypass around South Bend. Be safe!

My first time with a kite happened a few weeks ago between Salt Lake City and Laramie... Elk was a blast, not. Sisters was interesting, not. But, Rawlins had the highest winds, and the box only had 9,800 pounds in it. Not fun.

I am glad it's starting to warm up out there!

Ugh... Just heard three more rolled over 70 miles south of here too... Was hoping to be rolling here soon but now not so sure... :-(

Guess I am grabbing a few hours of shuteye here to complete a 10 since I already have five hours completed and by then the winds will have settled down a bit, I hope. Short night.

    Stay Safe,

Running empty westbound out of Albany on I-88 during a very windy event about a month and a half ago. I was still up on the "plateau" when a good gust slammed me on my right side which pushed me right into the center lane. To add to that, the traction control came on in the truck, so I'm guessing that a few tires on the passenger side were making little, if any, contact with the pavement for a couple of seconds. That got my heart racin' for the rest of the afternoon...
