You can do it either way, 2 and 8 or, 8 and 2. The 2 can be off duty or sleeper, the whole 8 has to be logged as sleeper.

Not sure about that... I have been under a load and tried to fuel and it would not let me... So I tried the previous load number and it worked fine... And I am fairly sure I was off the old load and on the new load.

But I could be wrong too.
    (Shhhh... Don't repeat that)

It's so bad that I at times can't get a direct correct answer from the chief bean counter... And I am a former bean counter... LOL

Well, technically they did check up on me... At 3pm in the afternoon... LOL

And I had sent a fun free form msg "wondering which direction I would be heading today"

Oh well... Thankfully it doesn't happen all that often and I was able to spend some time cleaning and polishing 1405... So it's all good.

    Hey folks,

Been talking with a new driver that is very interested in driving the NE Region for us. He is wondering if I know anyone that is currently an Abilene NE Driver that he could talk to.

Anyone here comfortable talking specifically about the NE or know of someone I could refer him to?

    Thanks,
    MD

Is there a maximum time frame that both the 8/2 or 2/8 must be completed? Or just anytime before your next 10? Or would it be before your 8 is up and you take your 30 break for two hours?

Is there someplace I should be searching for this myself? I certainly can if pointed in the general direction. I do see it being very useful at times for a number of reasons.
