Hey there I was reading a few of the threads and was impressed that I didn't read any negative reviews so how do the husband and wife teams do there anyone can answer plz?
MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
Still no word back yet. Should I be worried? Have a clean record and clean driving record. Only thing is my work history. Worked here and there for retail mostly. Trucking would be a new career for me. Holding out for Abilene because of what I've heard. Western Express is a last resort.Last edited: Mar 17, 2016

Johnboy,
I'm located in NE Florida just south of Jacksonville. In your experience with AME how often would you expect I could get home in this area? In other words, how many days out typically? -
I would call back, that's what I did when I was acceptedRocknroller4 Thanks this.

10-14 days as regular hometime. Also what we call a drive by, a 10 hour break at home under a load.XenonZe Thanks this.

Thanks. I'm starting a CDL school in a couple of weeks which will graduate at the end of April. AME is one of the companies I'm most interested in.
The website says the training period will vary based on each students needs/abilities I suppose. How long is a typical training period for most CDL school graduates? -
There's 3 phases, each one is 1-3 weeks each. Like you read, it's all dependent on how the trainee progresses.
XenonZe Thanks this.
