Wasn't me Larry, I was getting my last drop off at Cape Canaveral.

    Thanks. So far so good.

Very true, except when the truck is off so is the camera. Twice already I had to stop and take a whizz in my emergency container and forgot to pull the curtain closed. I wonder if I will wind up on some porn site as the new up and coming John Holmes?

Thanks, I just can't seem to get away from green trucks....lol

I'm sitting in St Cloud Mn waiting to get my first of 2 drops off in the morning. The last one is in Hutchinson Mn about 50 miles south of here. I should be empty by noon. I left the house this past Wednesday and got my last drop off at Cape Canaveral at 11am. I had to deadhead up to Lyons Ga to reload on Thursday morning with a load going to Food Lion in Greencastle Pa for Friday night at 6pm. This was my first concern with the new company, empty at 7pm on a Friday night, now what? I was sent a message to deadhead to our customer in Colonial Heights Va, drop my empty then see dispatch in the morning. I dropped the empty about 11pm Friday night and went to sleep at the Pilot that's about 6 miles from the terminal.

I woke up at 7am, showered then went to the yard to fuel and see dispatch. when I walked in there was about 15 drivers milling around BS'ing, and none of them were at the dispatch window. I got a cup of coffee then went to the window. I asked the dispatcher if he had anything to keep me running over the weekend. I got a loaded trailer off the yard, dropped it at our yard in Wytheville and picked up this load that was sitting there. Let me tell you, these people have freight and miles. I always said that if I'm away from home I want to run, not sit at a truck stop waiting on freight. I left Wednesday to finish my load, my reload on Thursday was a total of 1012 miles, the deadhead back to Va was 205 miles, the load from Richmond yard to Wytheville was 245 and this load is 1149 for a total of 2611 miles plus an extra stop off. This is good. I like how Abilene runs, I am getting use to the way they do things and it's a relief to be able to do your job and not be micro-managed. I'm still in the learning stage, and Runningman has been very helpful, when he and I finally sit down it will be such a pleasure to buy him dinner. His help and pointers have been priceless. Thanks Jason!

Dang, I probably ran across you going east on 94. Had a drop and swap in Eau Claire. Now that I think about it, I did see an Abilene truck going west, both tractor and trailer were wicked shiny. Glad to hear everything is going well.
