I have hauled a forklift once and a load of motorcycles. Nothing wrong with Dollar General. I saw Abilene delivering a load to Dollar Tree before so don't say no dollar freight.

Would be the first I've heard of it
but anything is possible. {shrug} -
If I had one of those Dollar General type loads, I'd get a kick out of watching the store manager unload it, because I sure as hell wouldn't.
Rocknroller4, MidWest_MacDaddy and Lonesome Thank this. -
It was at the Chesapeake Dollar Tree DC. I used to do Dollar Tree dedicated for Swift. I delivered to the stores.JohnBoy Thanks this.

Just bump the dock extra hard to get the load shifting... Help out the Store Mansger a bit... LOL ... Oh wait... Do they have docks???JohnBoy Thanks this.

OH, so you saw an Abilene truck at a "DC" for a Dollar Store... Ok, that's possible... We drop a no touch bulk load to a DC and then someone else runs it to the store... That's Possible.JohnBoy Thanks this.

It's not all no touch; however, 99.99% is. If you get anything going to Bed, Bath & Beyond out of Cost Plus World Market, you will be unloading it. The folks at the stores are not supposed to go in the trailers. Just ran a 3 stop CT, RI, MA load of that. Fun stuff.MidWest_MacDaddy and JohnBoy Thank this.

I believe most "do not" have a dock.JohnBoy Thanks this.
-
I preferred doing the stores without the docks actually. Because when the store had a dock your rollers had to start out really high.MidWest_MacDaddy and JohnBoy Thank this.

As far as cheap stuff goes I also hauled paper trash a couple of times.
JohnBoy Thanks this.
