I found it interesting when I first delivered to a Lumber Liquidators location in Florida that didn't have a dock and they rolled out a mobile ramp and chained it to the truck to run their forklift up and down as they unloaded the truck. That was kind of a neat concept I thought.JohnBoy Thanks this.

Most LL stores have that set up, except the rat hole store near Hunts Point in the Bronx.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

I will leave that one to the Regional Guys...

The only benefits of Dollar Tree docks were if they had a pallot of something they could take the whole pallot off at once. You wouldn't freeze while unloading the trailer. I kept a bottle of water with me and sometimes it froze.

Some have the docks where you back inside the building. Auburn Hills is a tight back.

So, when you are unloading it's not normally palletized??? Dang... So you had to two wheel cart it off?JohnBoy Thanks this.

Thus my point earlier. If it can walk off cool, if not, we have a problem Houston.Lonesome and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.

A question to you guys, does Abilene hire out of New Mexico?
My wife and I are planning to move to the rural Albuquerque - Santa Fe area in the next months and I'm not sure if I can stay with my current company. I've asked but they are still working on it if they can get loads out of this area.
I don't like to switch but I'm looking for opportunities if I have to.
Don't want to be on the road for more than three weeks and then like to take four days off at home.
So I'm testing the waters now
