I was told that a rental car and gas used for the trip would be reimbursed. Don't forget to check out the airlines. I am seeing airfare under $100 one way from FL which is probably less than rental charges and gas.

 

Thanks for that, Redtwin. But flying anywhere from Mobile is expensive as all get out. Renting a car and making the drive would be MUCH cheaper.

Spring Break Pricing

 

The cool kids no longer come this far south for Spring Break.

 

$500 for a flight, $222 plus fuel for a rental econobox, or $100 for a Greyhound bus ticket. What is wrong with this picture.

 

Is greyhound subsidized by Uncle Sam like AmTrak???

 

Amtrak does not service Mobile. Mobile is starting to look like a black hole. Which blows my mind. Because there is tons of industry here. Austal, AirBus, etc. I don't get it.
