Here I am. Parked for the night. Back row of a Wilco Hess. All kinds of parking spaces open and a reefer(Prime) parks right beside of me. I'm bored. Yes very board. I get out and walk, and count. There's 39 open spots to the left and 24 to the right side of me and this driver, chooses the spot right beside my truck. Now I get to listen to that reefer run all night. Why? Plus the front row still has some open holes.

 

Simple... He needed to use your truck as a reference point do he knew where to back.

Yes, today is Easter, a special day for a lot of people. Happy Easter to all.

Now. A short synopsis of my feelings about this industry today. It sucks, I'm over it, and this morning I woke up and counted exactly how much time I have left before I retire from this insanity.
3 years, 10 months and 17 days. Abilene is fine, I still believe this is my last job before I hang up my driving sneakers.

I can retire right now if I wanted too, but I'm just not quite ready to sell real estate with my wife yet. In the meantime, I'm gonna hang around just so I can see how much this industry can change. I mean really, how bad can it get in 3 years, 10 months and 17 days?

Everyone gets to a point where they have had enough. I don't know you, Johnboy, but I thank you for your guidance and experience in trucking. I hope to cross paths with you one day. Perhaps in 3 years, it will be possible. LOL
