Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Finally got my load info. I have a pick up in Melbourne in the morning going to our yard in Richmond for Saturday morning. That will end a very productive pay period, 7150 paid miles, 3 extra drops and 3.5 days at the house. Be safe all, God Bless.

Every 2 weeks. My first load of this pay period was from Colton Ca with 2 drops in Texas that started on a Thursday night, 2 days before the new pay period started. So actually it's really a 16 day pay period instead of a 14 day period, this go around. 700 miles a day for 10 straight days would have me in the funny farm.

 

Sorenson Trade Show. It's a Mayflower moving company. There's 2 of us here loading going back to Richmond.

 

Yep, been here for 6 months now. After 4 years at Calex I asked for a raise, they said no, I went home with a load, got empty, faxed them my resignation, cleaned the truck out and brought it back to them. I had this gig lined up right before I asked for the raise. Abilene is a pretty good place to work. Plenty of freight, miles, good hometime and excellent equipment.
