Literally ripped from Joe's truck. Now back at the hotel waiting for another trainer.

Hey @ MidWest MacDaddy. Drove I95 from Pa to SC today. Passed a couple of Ur units, a Mack #1362 I believe and 1616, either of the 2 folks on here?

    MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

The Mack is a local driver, I believe. I don't know about 1616 other than its an OTR truck.

Someone, who knows nothing of me, decided that there was no way I'd solo out in 2 weeks. Pulled me from Joe, and gave him a supposed 1 week finisher so Joe would have no issues hitting his home time in 2 weeks. So I got benched, even though I won't need much time out to get acclimated. A week at most.

Hmmm...got a call from Bill saying I needed to go into a different truck because mine needs work and will be sold. Tried to put me in a KW. I said I will try. Um, nope. Feel as if I'm in a coffin and when I sit in the seat, no matter what I do, it raises me up so my feet don't touch the floor or the accelerator. Not cool! Spot mirror on passenger side is broken (new truck!). Nope nope nope. So grabbed the old man and we are in the hotel for the night. Will get with Higgins or whoever tomorrow, but I'm not driving something I can't even reach the pedals on. Just call me Diva if you want, but to me that's dangerous.

There's a button on the left side to adjust the height of the KW just like the Volvos. Honestly I would say the seats are comfortable in the kW also much softer, much better air ride, cab itself don't do as much shifting in wind either. Look on the plus side you have some bright HID headlights too

    Ok all you KW lovers...

I can get the KW to skip shift in manual mode but it will not skip shift in auto mode... Taking off from a dead stop and having it shift through each and every gear is simply annoying.

    Please Advise.

The headlights are much better in the KW... And SirusXM is already built into the radio too.

Still looking for a few more upsides.

But I probably won't be seeing too many until I can drop half my stuff off at home... shrug.

At least my microwave fit which I wasn't sure was even going to happen until I got lucky.
