Different but enjoyable. I have arthritis in my knees. They are a blessing for me.

 

Ya, my left knee has already been acting up from years prior to trucking and was so glad to drive an auto so as to not make it worse.

 

I figured that out on the second day. I had the uncertainty all the way up until then. Even had another rental car reserved just in case.

 

I'm not unhappy here at all. Yes, the team driving sux, but I have never wanted to be a team driver. We're currently in Oakland waiting on a live unload, then we will pick up another load headed to Wilson, NC. Then hopefully back to Richmond to solo out.

 

Well, this home time session in Illinois has almost come to an end... Family Wedding for the most part but then squeezed in a few other appointments here while I was in the area. Last one was a dental appointment and now just hanging out for the night to have dinner with some old friends.

I should have my new marching orders around 9am or so and be once again, OTR!!!

 

Ol Pete (cranky Yankee) is one cantankerous sunuvagun but lemme tell ya what...I can't even remember all the times he helped me out, whether it was a good route, a good truck stop, a difficult receiver...I know he rubbed people the wrong way but I never had a whiff of an issue with him. I miss the guy.

 

Yep... I picked up a lot from him here... He even had a way of tell me that I was wrong a couple times and not in a cranky way... Just matter of fact and after thinking about it, I knew he was right... lol

Ok, let's plead for his reinstatement!!!

 

What are my chances of being fired if I broke the seal on the reefer and climbed in there to keep cool?
