If only I could convince myself that would be the outcome. :)

34 degrees is doable, but the noise will drive you insane.

The sound of the drops of sweat rolling off my forehead is doing a good enough job of that already.

Getting empty in Chino. Got our reload info. Pick up 30 miles down the road in Santa Ana going to Buffalo NY for Monday morning. I've already let dispatch know there's far too much time on this load and to let's work on a swap.

I am guessing Carl got you guys there OK. :)

I get my new trainer tomorrow, looking forward to it as I now have a better idea of what to expect on the road. Apparently there are tests after each stage. Have to figure out what those are so I can study for them.

Well, headed to Clinton Iowa today...

Had to do my very first S back ending big on the blindside... Whew!!! And the second turn, to the blind side, was a tad beyond a 90 degree.

And once you got square it was still tight between one trailer and a set of concrete steps that had been "tapped" quite a few times from others backing here.

I was watching the back right side a bit too closely and the drive tandems went off the asphalt into the mud of a river bank just a few feet beyond....

That would suck to call Scott to explain why I needed to be towed... Out of a River!!!

So, bumped the dock and it's a good day after all... LOL

    Stay Safe,
    MD

So got my ac fixed yesterday, they ended up sending me a ld picking up out of Jarrett going to Groveport,Oh.Dropped that this morning now at the Walmart in Columbus waiting for my reload in Groveport going to Glen Burnie Md.

Oh yeah if anybody gets the c&s ld going to Aberdeen I ended up parking at the MD house rest area about two exits up.There's enough room for about 20 trucks on each side, make it 40 if you count for the creative crowd lol.

I had to do this one at a Sears store in White Oak, MD many years ago. It started out as a slight blindside onto a ramp that descended into the basement of the store. When you got down to basement level, you had a 90 degree blindside into the building. Immediately after doing the blindside, you had to then sight side it 90 degrees into the docks under the store. It was so tight that the store could not take 53 ft trailers and their loads went on a 48. In my almost 20 year driving career, it's probably the most difficult delivery I've ever done.

lol ... yes, always amazed at their skills.

And then the next morning when the first few creatives leave and there is now a solo truck parked in the middle of the lot... LOL

Glad to hear you got your A/C back... Ugh
