Ok... Ok... Your trip trumped my trip... :)

I'll keep my light load and babysit it all the way to two Publix within a mile of each other.

Ya... That not getting it until morning and then being late because of it would have brought out the sailor within me as well.

Maybe I can rig something up. I just don't want it falling out and hitting me in the head.

The antenna cable will stop it...
    From hitting the floor...
    Not your head...

If anything, it should ride forward...

    Duct Tape the corners... LOL

For those who want to run an export radio in the overhead, I recommend the Mirage MX36HP.

It's a pretty good little powerhouse that is the same size as a Cobra 29, so it'll fit in most of the overhead compartments in the trucks without modification. I have one and love it. While it's no Connex or General Lee, it does a nice job!

Slept with the engine off and the windows cracked last night... Large parking lot with hardly a soul around me...

Felt like camping this morning when I awoke.

On our way to Richmond, will be in at 3 this afternoon. Should have been in about noon, but unfortunately for me, Mother Nature took over on the deadhead from Nashville to Conyers Ga, and hit every rest area, truck stop and one off ramp to...... Well you get the picture. Feeling good now though.
