4 days off for 2 - 3 weeks out? Wonder how that'd work out for the rest of us? Not saying you're not worth it, or that you don't work your tail off while out, but dang. Then again you are old as methuselah and need your rest! Bwahhh!

Just added up my miles for this pay period ending when I get empty tonight, 11,850 miles. I do need some extra time off.
Lonesome, RebelChick, Finfn1372 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Johnboy just looked at my past 8 days and ive ran over 3900 miles, and ive been pieceing hours together just to get back to Richmond, sure doesn't seem like it.
Got my first taste of what the automatic can do for you, coming through Atlanta this morning at the start of rush hour, yeah think I can get used to this.gntorres61 and JohnBoy Thank this. -
Well today was an interesting load... Stopped at I40X90 in NC last night before heading up north through the Linville Falls area to some quarry to grab a load heading back to Richmond.
Very glad I didn't attempt to get to the pick up last night... LOTS of hills and curves with a wall of rock on the right side and a "steep grade" on the left... Was an interesting trip to take...
The view in those hills was AWESOME but too bad I needed to focus on the narrow curvy road before me to enjoy them too much.
An interesting day OTR for sure.bigred81, popcorn169, Rocknroller4 and 2 others Thank this. -
Was talking with a couple other abilenes at are delivery in San Antonio, and one of them mentioned the company is going to an all kw fleet, could have been just trucker talk, but has anybody else heard the same.
-
They would still need Volvos for their teams... So they might consider changing the mix up a bit... Or just working the system to get better bargaining power with the dealers... This year is mega KWs and then in two years flip flop and grab a bunch of Volvos... Make the other salesmen earn your business all over again.
Personally, an all KW Fleet would make me sad.
But like you said, Truckers Talk too. {shrug}4mer trucker and Finfn1372 Thank this. -
Yeah man he said this was the last batch of Volvos the company was ordering who knows.Midwest have you been doing good.Heard they got another Brooklyn with your name on it lol.
