So they didn't require you to go through a refresher after all that time? Some places are really picky and want me to go back to a refresher program because it's past the 90 days mark. Ridiculous if you ask me. Not paying another 2k.

 

Haha understand that feeling. Have gotten to know my ceiling and walls too well.

It was like six months between my CDL and applying here at Abilene.

 

Hey guys and girls, just a quick update. Had my drug alcohol and dot done friday. Cant see(glasses) and cant breathe (cpap) so only 1 year card but a card nonetheless.

Finished up another fun filled and action packed weekend on patrol. Work wednesday night and friday turn all my gear in then taking leave for a few days.

Updated Rusty today. Signed up for orientation 6/1/16. So ready to trade a green outfit for a green truck.

The six month program was the old process... So it was acurate, just outdated. Dropped from 6mo to, as mentioned, up to 3mos depending on skill levels.

Hope you end up here at Abilene... Good place.
