Where? It was 9 hours after your scheduled appointment time? Submit for detention time.

 

They say not to use it but it's mainly to keep things simple... I've used it a few times. Comes in pretty handy at times.

 

Those days pop up now and then.

Wow 9 hrs sucks. That makes sense for paper logs, just wondered how on the QC would be done.

 

I will see how it looks in the morning. Ive never done a split sleeper before so will have the qc guide me as far as what I have available.

 

The 8 must be in the sleeper berth and you will get like 4-5 hours available on your clock before you must take the two.

 

Well I have 4+ hours available to drive 120 miles so it looks like I am out of the woods. I am sure I will get the other 2 off duty during the live unload.

The one downside that I have seen in using the split was that the 2 hour break then counts against your 14 hour clock. I think that bit me once when I used it.

But if you can use it during the live unload then it doesn't matter all that much.

They are unloading now so not sure I can hang around for another hour. May have to creep off their property and find a side street.

On another note should lumper receipts paid by efs check be scanned with usual paperwork?. I was wondering if they would think i wanted reimbursement.
