I heard something about that... Being my first "blitz" this might be interesting.

Congrats on the sticker... And you get a free Beacon Bath for passing a Level 1 as well.

    Enjoy that truck wash!!!

KD5AXG, JohnBoy and 4mer trucker Thank this.

When we send the end trip macro is that enough to let them know we are available or should we be specifically asking for a load?.

Im at a tiny truck stop even further in the sticks than I was yesterday and don't relish the thought of being stuck here for the night.

    JohnBoy Thanks this.

Just pull in to your local weigh station and ask.

That's all for now, in 45 minutes, do what I do, start burning up the QC, then phone. It usually works for me.

Yep... I give them an hour but politely persistent seems to work most of the time. Then we get them trained to avoid the hassles and just get us PrePlanned... Well, in theory... LOL

Ok, so I am under a load of Gatorade heading to Florida... Probably not the best weekend to be 80,550 lbs right? ... ;-)

And I don't know who had this truck before me but dang was it abused... Curtain barely hanging on the tracks... Missing 12v plug... Missing covers on drawers and ashtray... Stains on the ceiling... (How does one get stains on the ceiling?)

Doesn't idle more than 5 minutes
A/C has a mind of its own
Jake Brake doesn't feel the same as others
Hinges unhinged... (I fixed that easily)

Needs a good bath too but I don't really want to deal with a Level 1 either.

But it still feels great to be back OTR!!!

    Guess I complained too much
and they took it back... LOL

    Just Kidding... :)

I was off for a couple weeks to move to Charlotte... Of course a truck, new truck at that, can't be sitting that long so I turned in the KW and was assigned a different one upon return.

So I am back in a Volvo... :)
