    When I first started here it use to be 6 months before you were sent west. Not anymore. My first west coast run was 3295 miles with 6 drops, finished 500 miles from the pacific ocean. I now run to the western part of Canada, Ut, Id, Mt and enjoy immensely. Even in the dead of winter. Right now I'm on the list for an Alaska run for next month.

    The prices are the same, but the tax rebate isn't.

    That place is the same disgusting place today as it was the first time I was there 25 years ago, throw into the mix the constant phone calls from the broker and it makes for one of the chittiest loads we backhaul

    Yes it was me. I wanted to grab it with the time i had left yesterday so i could hit the ground running today. Glad I did too as i left the yard at 5am and it was smooth sailing all the way up to MA, yes, even over the GWB.

    Im parked for the night in Sturbridge and its #### near full to overflowing at 3pm!. If i had left Richmond much later I would have been in trouble.

    You got some good miles in for staying east. I barely broke 5k my first solo paycheck, but part of that is down to my overly cautious nature not wanting to stretch my clock and risk being late or not finding parking.

    Finishing up my 34 in Ft Chiswell ,will head toward delivery in morning with about 160 miles to go.They'll probally have me deadhead to drop this reefer somewhere.

    With Abilene being a mostly dry van company,iv'e noticed in my time here iv'e pulled mostly reefer,not complaining just something iv'e observed.
