Thought you said you were getting 500 mile short loads... Maybe I misread it.

 

Even when I am there I only go as far down there as the popcorn machine.

If there is something they want me to see then the bulletin board needs to be moved to the stairwell.

 

It was supposed to be there at 8am. I was parked there at 6:45 and stuck the bol in the Manager's hand at 7:58am as soon as she opened up the store.

Their remodel was rescheduled and somebody didn't tell somebody else or something.

You know how I feel about FL and you offer it in trade?. I used to think you were an alright guy. Used to.

 

I am, but they are taking 2 days to run because of typical eastern traffic. Or, a 320 miler that I ended up driving illegal to make it same day because of constant I95 traffic jams from Richmond to NJ. I know that they can't predict traffic.

Issue is, I'm a runner. 700 mile days are normal for me. Occasional short hops are fine, but running me against my 14 vs. my 11 is getting old. I'm leaving a ton of money on the table because of it.

 

I only go down to give Ms. Orlando my autograph a couple times per month.

I never look around except maybe to brush up on the Smith Safe Driving System...

 

Try the popcorn, its free!. Only gets chewy on the weekend when it's the remnants of the friday batch.

So, you are expecting 700 mile days eh?

Those will come but not every day... I am on an 1,000+ run at the moment but it doesn't deliver until 7am on the 22nd... So I get a long run but it's going to average out to 500 miles/day.

And you do get that 10 CPM bonus for NE miles which helps to offset the traffic.

Delivered my load ,and was sent a deadhead to drop at sabre,did that was than sent a load picking up at hill phoenix,going to the armpit of Jersey.

Currently on the yard,on break will be leaving out about 1215 for a 0800 appt.

 

Finally got loaded after 5 hrs. Since this day is shot, shutting down for the night while I can find a parking spot not on an exit ramp. I'll get up early in the am to get this one to the yard, then hope for another run very soon after.

Oh, and I managed to get my CB working! Not a complete loss of a day!
