Hello and welcome to Abilenes little corner of The Truckers Report... Feel free to jump in with a comment or question... Most here are fairly friendly... Unless we didn't get our full 10 hour break... Then some get a bit grumpy.

 

Ok... Here's to the end of one full day... Barely got here before hitting the 11 and they might take me early... So much for sleeping a full ten tonight... Maybe they will let me sleep in a bit in the morning... LOL ... ya, probably not.

 

I would say its possible doing 3k regional but the loads would have to be stacked just right with lots of night running to avoid traffic. I wouldn't bank on it though.

As mentioned the NE rate is 46 cents for miles north of MD so any shortage in miles would be offset.

Having said that does anyone know if the regional guys really do stay in the NE?. I know one but he does a part time pseudo dedicated so not really indicative of the NE rate mile average.

 

You should, they already owe you $200 just from my hire.

 

I've had 6 hours in the past two days. When they start paying me hourly to sleep I will put more effort into sleeping longer.

So, were any of you guys on 95 in the Jacksonville area around 7 am yesterday morning? I was the one that came up next to you honking. I thought you were Carl. He was in the area and we were catching up to him. I saw the AMX truck and had no doubt it was him, that is, until I got next to you! Haha

 

Incorrect. NE pay is .10 extra of whatever YOUR cpm is.

 

I believe they do. And the reason why the yard is stuffed with trucks every weekend! They can have all that NE driving. Too much traffic for me!
