No. I'm suppose to be a finisher and have a few weeks off between trainees, that's not how it's worked out yet. I'm sure after getting some more grey hair this winter I'll rethink this though.

Well, lets see, new trainee picked up at the petro in kenly nc, check. Switched into another brand new truck, check. Left with a two stop boars head load that had to be run all night to atlanta, check. Deadheaded to rock hill sc to drop and hook going to San Diego for Saturday morning, check. Already exhausted , check. In bed, check.

Well hopefully you will be able to sleep. Nothing like waking up several states away and asking where are we?!?!

It all depends on how much experience one has. Right out of school with no experience it's six months. A little experience, less. Not familiar with the northeast, you will go with someone like me a few trips. Not familiar with the west coast, again, a few trips with a finisher.

They will put you with someone that is a match based on your likes, dislikes, compatibility, and experience.

Got our preloaded trailer last night around 6pm. It was raining, foggy and generally a lousy driving night. I was exhausted from driving all night the night before so I elected to stop at the Georgia welcome center at 7pm. I had george drive from kenesaw ga to rock hill sc, then to he rest area. My sleep break was up at midnight last night. I got up at midnight and drove to Jackson Ms to shower and fuel. For now I'm letting George drive during the day and I'm doing the night driving. He handles the truck well but needs a little guidance with a few things. We need to drop this load in San Diego Saturday morning, so as it stands right now, I'll be driving across 20 in the next ice/snow storm tonight and then I'll be taking it to San Diego from Yuma.
