I have both but have yet to use either one. I checked out the scale app and they wanted a payment source. Do you use your efs card or paypal etc.

 

See now I was told that we should not contact load planners. All contact had to go through DM.

Should I disregard that and start contacting them directly?.

 

Not that it bothered me in the first place but I don't even notice it any more.

Pretty soon you won't even bother closing the curtains when changing.

 

I finished up my world market 3 stopper and man those docks are tight. On one of them I couldn't even get down either side of the truck to see if I left enough room for them to get the dock plate up.

One of them ticked me off royally too. It was an 8am appt. I was backed in at 7:15 walked around front to see if anyone was in but saw noone so went back to the truck. At 8 I went looking again and saw a side door open so went in and a lady was standing there saying they had trouble opening the roll up door. I opened it then went back to cab for paperwork and handed it to her. After they were done unloading she wrote 8:10 as the "in" time. I shouldn't care but that just really annoyed me.

Anyway waited at my last drop for my next move finally got a qc message to head towards orlando (from naples) and I was just about to leave when I got a call saying to head for Miami instead.

Broker load, I had to call broker before dispatch could get load info (huh?). Finally get load info which had an incomplete address. Got the right address from google. Get to shipper and its wrong PU number. I have yet to do a broker load that had the right number so no surprise there.

Call broker get right number only to be told that load won't be ready for another 5 hours...3 hours after my 14 runs out.

Try to call someone at Richmond and was on hold when someone (wally?) calls asking me if I found place ok. I tell him about the hours issue and he says he will call and get them to speed things up.

I have less than an hour left now so things are going to get interesting tonight.

Have I ever mentioned my disdain for Florida?.

Just got a call from Reggie. He wanted to make sure I have a graduation certificate as he thought I got my CDL within the last 5 years. I told him it was longer than that but I was bringing it anyway along with my CPA scores for their files. Hey, I'm rather proud of that piece of paper. lol

 

My 3 month probation is up on the 13th of this month. I strongly suspect that is right about the time I am going to forget a lot of rules.

 

EFS card. Once you set it up you'll wonder why you took so long.

 

Call me a pita but I never allowed that. Once through the gate my arrived at shipper went in. Whatever time that was better be on the BOL as time in or I ain't signing it. Made more than one change it or initial my change. If they want to wait until 8 to "start" unloading that's fine but if I'm early, my company knows it. I did that because many times if my appointment time was 8am but they made me wait however long for a dock, that's on them.
