Night time can't be beat for traffic free roads. I find it easier on the eyes than daylight driving. There is also the bonus of plenty parking when shutting down in morning.

There is no way that is I95 though, it is never that empty. Not unless there has been a zombie apocalypse I don't know about yet.

I don't mind night time driving. My KW doesn't drive well in the dark. Too many reflections in the windows of interior lights make it extremely tough to see mirrors and such. The extra eye strain is exhausting.

I keep my dash lights turned all the way down. I keep a couple of those cat scale ticket truck picture cards handy to stick over the 4way flasher button as that thing lights up the dash and windscreen like it was vegas.

On the issue of trl washouts...Maybe I'm crazy, but you're hauling FOOD PRODUCTS people. They should be washed out after EVERY load. Whether it be at BB or the yard, pallets or no. I've seen some nasty nasty trl after being unloaded and thought Jesus H Christ, did they really load this with it like this?!? It's about $35 and it's what the #### account at BB is for.

As for the pallets, see if you can find someplace that will buy them and make yourself a couple bucks or donate them to your next stop if they'll take them. The BH distributors sometimes know of a local place.

Gotcha. I only heard about the trailer washout at BB tonight though...on this forum. Previously I only knew of BB truck washes and only then could we get one after a PM.

Some of us only know what we are told during orientation and training. Think of how many drivers don't frequent this forum where all this good information can be found.

At the BB?. I knew trailers could and sometimes needed to be washed out. Don't recall a BB account being mentioned for that.
