Well sign me up and kick me in my butt! Coming from bobtails with Allison 6 speed autos and medium duty 6 speed snyc manuals. A auto semi sounds like heaven!!!

 

I had an owner op train me. His truck was a super 10. Man, I thought I was hot sh** driving his truck. Get out West and set the cruise on 75. Lol.

 

Reaffirmed there are NO leaks... So it must be something that I am doing differently... {shrug}

But very good news that I need not to worry about waking up dead... LOL ... Still going to go buy a CO detector...

 

Thats what I want. I live 7 miles from i-40. I am used to putting on the cruise and driving till I run out fuel. We have nearly endless open miles out here in the west. The I 5 corridor is mess in around cities, but there are some long open stretches. From where I live off I 40 to where it runs into I 15, with a few exceptions. It's just smooth cruising.

 

Thinking its 35 and lower but some trucks might be set up differently.

I like low temps as they make for great sleeping weather, for me, so I rarely idle it in the lower temps and then the bunk heater will create a sweat lodge in your cab, if you let it.

 

I40 is one of our two main lanes. It's been awhile since I ran out that way but yes, it's beautiful and open out there. Hoping to make it out that way again before winter but for now the East Coast has my name on it.

 

I don't need ice cubes...
The A/C chills my drinks.
Good thing I like cold coffee.

 

And I want stay as far away from the east as humanly possible! No offence to are east coast brothers. I am west coast guy and love it out here. Give me long stretches of highway, moutains and few coyotes to blast my horns at.

 

Oh yeah. That'd be nice wouldn't it.
