Just call, tell them, they change it in the system. Easy. I've done it twice with no problems

 

Question for you good folks at Abilene. I just heard from a recruiter and waiting to do the physical. To you guys and gals that run countrywide how often are you in Richmond, VA or get to take your 10 hr or 34 here? I live in Richmond and was thinking about doing NE regional for the hometime but I hear it's forced dispatch to NYC. Just wondering how often I can expect some unofficial hometime...

 

Dude, if you live in Richmond I'd say you could go by the house up to three times a week. I live in WV and I'm in or by Richmond at least twice a week. We have a lot of freight coming into Richmond from Ohio, Indiana areas. And yes, NYC is forced. If you're hired they'll tell you, you required to run all 48 states and all points within. But also, everything above the Mason Dixon line is an extra .10 cpm.
