Does anyone have an idea of hometime and miles to expect on the Ne regional?
-
Running the ne regional miles could vary due to traffic 2000-2400 but the extra .10 helps a lot. I was ne living in Richmond using up then right back down by the house every other night. Depending on what time u arrive back from last load you could have Friday-Saturday off ready to leave out on Sunday after for your Monday morning appointment. Other times u might arrive Friday night only for reset or make it back in Thursday after ready to depart on Sunday. It really wasn't necessarily requested time off unless u need a whole Sunday off gotta depart richmond for Monday. Usually ne dedicated driver return back to Richmond.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

Dropped our empty in Forrest City last night then bobtailed to the WM yard and got our Reno load. I have to give a heartfelt shout out to my FM Kimberley. She knew the tight schedule we were on and made sure a local driver went to Byhalia and picked up our load for us. Those 2 hours it saved us really made a difference on our delivery schedule in Reno. Again, I have no issue with emptying out at 1pm on a Friday. I take over in Tucumcari about 11am.
My trainee over here and I were talking, we both agree, we are overwhelmed with the amount of miles we are driving since last Wednesday.MidWest_MacDaddy, KD5AXG and 4mer trucker Thank this. -
Jealous, I am.

Paid Miles: ~3,600 (1,800/week)
But I came out late after being off for a few days for the July 4th Holiday and one bigger load to Baltimore won't hit until next pay period.

Welcome to the blog. I'm going to address the NYC subject you are questioning. I'm not going to tell you anything you haven't read or asked. I will tell you this, I am a purebred, born and raised New Yorker, one that grew up in the families produce business in Hunts Point Market. My driving in the 5 boroughs in a big truck started out in LTL. What you need to do, and as a trainer here, is to go with me, I have been given countless trainees to bring to the city. Depending on your training, and my schedule, I will offer to you, and if you want, will tell Kimberley that I will finish your training with you in NY. Right now, the only advice I can give you is this, don't sweat the small stuff. Ask questions yes, but don't get worked up over something that I can walk you through.Jrdude5, dinosaurjr, ChrisL and 3 others Thank this.

But they drive nights and don't put limitations on themselves... It does make a difference.
Not being snarky... Just pointing it out.
Hoping you are enjoying a few beers and time in the pool... Oh wait... That's tomorrow right?
Hoping to be heading home here soon myself.
I get to help my oldest move for Grad School.
She's off to Georgia Southern... Fun, fun, fun...
