One of my trainers had that camera and he said those lights meant it was waiting on a wifi signal to upload. I did notice that the only times it had two green lights was when he was in the truck so I wondered if he used his phone as a wifi hotspot for the camera.

 

I vowed to not quit for the first year no matter what happened. I could survive on 1000 miles a week if I needed to and that is because I set myself up to weather anything I encountered here.

The training really tested that, but knowing I would have to go through training again wherever else I went made me stick it out.

 

There may have been a backlog for whoever does the installation. Mine was put in the last week of June when I had a few days off and my truck was left at the yard.

 

Its for their records, to make sure you don't gain too much weight and reduce the cargo carrying limits of your truck.

 

Don't worry, next time you're at the yard or have service, you'll get a brand new one.

 

Do you mind explaining what it was about the training that tested you?

 

Sleep deprivation. I couldn't sleep more than a couple hours when the truck was moving.

 

How long are you required to team drive under those conditions?
