Anywhere but the north east, love running west and that's pretty much all I did for the 20 years i drove. But It just dawned on me that they may not take me. I haven't drove a truck in 3 years, still current on everything though.

I was out since 2007. Had to get my CDL back through a school. They hired me as a refresher. You could most likely do the same.

They would just put you through a refresher... Couple weeks with a trainer instead of the whole program.

There would be many companies out there promoting "No NE" if that is what you really want. But, like I said, most of the OTR guys will hit NE but not regularly.

Personally, other than some rather tight backs and corners in NYC/NJ... I can't say the NE is all that bad... But opinions vary.

Did he ditch it? He seemed to have swung wide enough... Wow... That sucks for him.

Pour on the coal and yank it out of there... lol

So... Was it? If it is, I might know a trucker in that area that could help you pull it out... LOL

He high centered the tandems and broke off a brake chamber. The right side wheels were off the ground. They tried to yank it out, but the breaks are locked. Then, it stared to rain. The heavy duty is here now lifting it out of the ditch.
