My concern before coming here was that if there is a financial incentive for the trainer to have a trainee on the truck,and there is, then the trainer might delay the trainee getting off the truck by saying they werent ready for solo.

With both trainers I had that was absolutely not the case. The first one said I was ready for next phase after only a week and as soon as we hit Richmond I was off his truck. I was with second trainer for a little over 2 weeks when he also said I was ready to move on.

Either one of them could have easily kept me on their truck for much longer and I wouldn't have had reason to object.
