Under the Stargate project, five additional data centers will be constructed across the U.S.: two more in Texas, one in New Mexico, one in Ohio, and one in an undisclosed Midwestern region.

NC communities are fighting to keep them away from the 'burbs.

the power and water needed to operate is incredible.

Water never leaves the planet Earth, so where does it go after the data center uses it?

There is a coal fired power plant in WV that uses water from a lake next to it for cooling. The water is warm and we went swimming when it was about 50 degrees out. Not sure about when it gets really cold in the winter.

Why dont they build these data centers somewhere with cooler weather? They create an enormous amount of heat yet they build them in the hottest parts of the country.... They are going up on evrry vacant piece of land out here in the southwest. Ive delivered to about a dozen data center jobsites just this year
