    Okay drivers, this is my experience with Southern Refrigerated Transport, where I drove from February 2010 until June 2010:

    My first 6 weeks out with them was fine. Solid miles, running west, no problems whatsoever. I went home for 4 days after being out for my first 6 weeks with the company. I live in Florida.

    After my hometime, things were much different. The first four weeks back to work, I did not haul a load over 700 miles. When I requested better miles from my DM, his attitude completely changed. He went from being a very polite kid to being completely rude and degrading. "Why don't you just do what you are told", was his answer back to me when I asked for better miles. Now, I never refused a load; I did everything they ever asked me to do.

    My miles after the first 6 weeks I was there went from averaging about 3200 to about 2000. People in safety, and operations were very rude. It was as if they were trained to be rude.

    Now, my wife and I ran team for Covenant Transport back in 2001-2002 and we always were treated rudely at Covenant.

    There are some good folks in dispatch, but for the most part I was treated pretty rudely: in the office, qualcomm, and on the phone. The ladies in safety and compliance all have their snotty noses in the air and act like you are bothering them if you need something from them.

    There is also alot of incompetence in operations. They make a lot of dumb calls on customer freight and most of them could care less about picking up or delivering on time.

    If anybody has any questions, then come on with it...

    I went to check out SRT back in 2000 and made it about an hour into orientation that was enough for me lol I got a taxi to a rental car and drove back to florida

    If you work at SRT you might find plenty of miles or you might not. I do know this, if you complain, they will shove you to the bottom of the list and you truck will get crappy loads.

    I see....thank you, thank you very much..... lets add a couple thousand more square feet to the office, hire some more short skirts and expand the gym.....say anyone find out yet why we have so much iron against the fence? :biggrin_25525:
