Bi-lo is very close to home. Do you know anything about BASF? I met a guy who drove a box truck for them, but he wasn't too clear if they have their own class A fleet. I see lots of Schneider tanks there, so maybe not.

Do any of those tankers run local? Superior said they only have a couple local jobs, and those are for the truckers with the most seniority.

They all have some local, but not sure about in Greenville. Call and ask.
Rogers Cartage in Spartanburg is one to check out. They are under the Tankstar umbrella of companies. Sometimes those companies will hire a new grad if the headquarters in Milwaukee approves it.

No sure about them. They do have their own fleet. Don't know if they have any in maudlin or not. I bet you could get own at any of the building supply places. All are loacal mostly class B. I would say they pay 12 to 13 an hour. Heck my niece's boyfriend gets 12 just washing tricks at Ryder.

Yeah, I think you're right. A few months ago at a rest area I met a class A driver who works for a building supply company out of Vidalia, GA. He said he got paid $18/hr + overtime , working 11hr days all out and back.
