Have you checked all the sensor leads first to make sure their all plugged together?missjhawk Thanks this. -
Does the abs light come on immediately after clearing the codes with out moving the truck?
Or do the wheels of the truck have to turn before the abs light resets?missjhawk Thanks this. -

If the code doesn't clear with out even moving the truck there is an open circuit to one of the abs sensors.
Unplug the abs sensors and look for damaged or bent pins in the connectors.missjhawk Thanks this. -
What hub did you change.
Steer axle abs sensor can easily be checked on my truck. I just push the sensor back into position against the tone ring using a pry bar.
The sensors on drive axle are harder to get at. But there is an access hole directly behind sensor to push it forward with a stiff wire,,, clothes hanger or long nose punch.
If you have an open circuit, you probably have a damaged wire. I would first check the wire that the hub was replaced.
Plug in a new sensor into each position unplugging old. One at a time. Checking if abs light goes out. This will show you which position is bad.
I think the computer should tell you when running the diagnostics. I mean the laptop the shop plugs in to your truck.
Good luckmissjhawk and HopeOverMope Thank this. -
Hi, from experience, had a seal replaced in steer. The speed sensor was not appropriately spaced with the tone ring. Had it adjusted and the light went off after I drove off. It remained on for about two miles, but then just went off. Just from my experience, also if you have fluids in the area of the sensor it could be causing some issue. Good luck.
