"

Wheels on other axles of the vehicle may be indirectly controlled by the antilock brake system.
(b) Each full trailer manufactured on or after March 1, 1998, shall be equipped with an antilock brake system that directly controls the wheels of at least one front axle of the vehicle and at least one rear axle of the vehicle. You think the DOT is the problem?
Nope.
You better not have a big accident with that trailer.
The laywers will make mince meat out off you if they find out.
BTW how come this trailer is missing this system?
Someone do a cheap fix ?CavScout19d Thanks this. -
Could it by chance have the air operated ABS and is missing the sticker that states such?
CavScout19d Thanks this. -
Not sure why it doesn't have one I overlooked that . and noticed it after I PAID for it
I haven't called manufacturing yet, will do on Tuesday.
Local shop said it will probably cost me around 2500

Thank you. -
My trailer doesn't have abs either. Or the light. And it had an extra 8 feet added shortly before I started. You can see the welds.

I haven't had inspection in 9 months I been here. And 8 feet was added to the trailer. it used to be a 45 footer. now it's 53 feet.
