So I was accepted to CR England and was supposed to show up on a certain date. I called them that same day to tell them thanks but not thanks. I did this after many people talked me out of it. Said they are a terrible company.
Anyways, I never showed up like I was supposed to. Does this go on my record? I heard that once you are physically there and then you leave, they can put that on your DAC as having left without giving a warning. Am I OK since I never showed up then called the same day to say no thanks?
Accepted but did not go

You actually never worked there... So I would say no.
Good choice BTW -
You never signed any employment paperwork other then the application right? You didn't take a drug screen of physical right?
If this is the case it shouldn't go on your dac, if it does sue them.drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
I never signed anything besides the app and no, I didn't take their physical. Thanks for the information everybody!!!

you dodged a bullet. Be proud of yourself

It shouldn't effect your DAC. Regardless, you should check every once in awhile. I filled out an app for Swift and they put on my DAC I worked for them. Got it taken care of but only because I checked my DAC frequently.

When I got into trucking in 2008 I also accepted an offer from CR England...had them book the bus ticket and everything. I also backed out at the last minute. Besides one phone cal from my recruiter who I am sure was disappointed she didn't get her commisson..I never heard another word...nor is it anywhere on my DAC

Thanks everybody. How can I check my DAC? I'm sure there is nothing on it because I have a car and was going to drive to the truck company so they didn't buy a bus ticket for me.
