Well you didn't say who the company was...flat bed they might question it since you had a shoulder injury.
As long as you gave them your work history as you told us and they are good with it then don't worry. Now if you didn't tell them about your shoulder injury that would be lying.....think about it. -

its for prime, they said it should not be a big deal if i had a letter from a doc clearing me for work.i can't find the papers from 8 years ago and have two weeks until i leave and live on the other side of the country.i would never not tell them the truth, i just worry that i get there pass the physical and all the other things and they make me leave because of something 8 years ago that i am clear of
-
you may fool em for a while if you did lie,but it'll only result in you being parked for a longer time, maybe for a bit longer than you'd like....If you ARE under a Dr.'s care as a result of your previous injury,a written notice saying you are good for full duty may be needed...This varies depending on geographical location,be sure to get clear on what is needed on your part driver....Good luckin and keep on truckin!!!!!!

No i didn't lie.I passed the 3 year history and was accepted into the cdl training prog. I even told the recruiter that when I fill out my ten year work history i will have a gap close to a year due to a shoulder surgeryand physical therapy.it was 8 years ago and i was cleared at that time and have never had a problem since.

.
I'm having trouble with this one.
I think you're getting your chain yanked. All you need to supply is a history and/or reasonable explanation of, with supporting documents.
A work related injury that old, would not require a "work release" so many years later. Unless you haven't worked snce the injury or, the company is seeking an excuse NOT to hire you. -
yeah i have worked straight through since i was cleared in '02.i am having such a difficult time locating some kind of clearance letter from then.i will just bring whatever i can find and cross my fingers
-
I dont think it should be any of there business, as long as you can pass a physical, and the way large carriers conduct physicals, a cadaver could probably pass. I know companies have tightened there belts, but thats a little extreme if they dont accept you for an 8 year old healed injury

i am just worried they will send me home for not having the papers from 8 years ago,or them being scared because of some insurance issue...someone said they might, but the recruiter said it shouldn't be a problem.
