    Every broker that you present that to will tell you to pound sand. That is the epitome of an unreasonable demand.

    What if he told you that your rate would be reduced by 50% if you have an unforeseen breakdown and have to deliver a day late? No truck driver would agree to that. Its the same concept.

    I would say thats not an unreasonable demand . It cost money when u miss appointments and can screw things up for the next 2 or 3 weeks. There is plenty of brokers that put stupid crap in the rate cons that are more unreasonable than that

    No one will ever reimburse you for potential future income. Anyone that would agree to that is not competent to run a business.

    I see tons of unreasonable "demands" from bad brokers every week. Fees for everything under sun! I promptly add said brokers to my Do Not Haul list and tell them to never contact me again if they have a problem with me not agreeing to ANY fees at all. Ever.
    BTW, your examples are already covered under the Force Majeure sections of most Agreements.
